ShipFromIstanbul collects only the contact and shipment details needed to quote, book and deliver your air cargo, and never sells this data to third parties.
What data do we collect?
When you request a quote we store your name, company, email, phone number and shipment details (origin, destination, weight, dimensions, pieces, Incoterm, insurance and notes). Messages sent by email or WhatsApp are kept in our operations inbox.
Why do we use it?
We use this data to prepare rate offers, book space with airlines, file export customs declarations and send shipment updates. We do not use it for advertising profiles.
Who do we share it with?
Only with parties needed to move your cargo: airlines, ground handlers, customs authorities and delivery partners at destination. Each receives the minimum data required for its step.
How long do we keep it?
Quote requests that do not become bookings are deleted after 24 months. Booking and customs records are kept for the period required by Turkish customs and tax law.
Your rights
Under Turkish KVKK (Law No. 6698) and the EU GDPR you may request access, correction or deletion of your data. Write to info@shipfromistanbul.com and we reply within 30 days.
