Terms of Service

These terms govern quotes and air freight bookings made with ShipFromIstanbul; a booking is confirmed only after you accept a written rate offer.

Quotes

Rate offers are based on the chargeable weight, route and service level you provide and are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise. Airline fuel and security surcharges may change before departure.

Bookings

A booking is confirmed once you accept the written offer and we issue a booking reference. Cargo must match the declared weight, dimensions and contents; differences are re-rated at the airline's measurement.

Restricted goods

Dangerous goods require IATA DGR documentation before booking. We may refuse cargo that is undeclared, unsafe or prohibited by the airline or destination country.

Liability

Carrier liability follows the Montreal Convention, currently capped at 26 Special Drawing Rights per kilogram unless a higher value is declared. Cargo insurance is available on request.

Payment

Invoices are payable within the term stated on the offer. Duties and taxes at destination are charged according to the agreed Incoterm.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law; Istanbul courts have jurisdiction.
